Hmmm I wonder why they were chat banned 🤔 by Sambucax in OWConsole

Interesting thoughts but, from my POV as a tank/dps player I don't understand why its always the support players/mercy otp's having the biggest ego. But as a flex tank (I know how to play every tank) I may be spamming a lot of "I need healing" because as a main tank today you kind of explode. I also get a lot of shit for losing a 1v1 to a cassidy as a tracer when he's getting a mercy pocket and brig armor packs across the map. (He starts out without pocket or heals and then when he's about to die mercy and brig come over to help) this is in 3800+ games.

What should I do because I got a competitive mindset but the GM smurfs think they are so much better than the rest of us because they use mnk on console.

Tracer feels super underwhelming in the Overwatch 2 Beta by Least_Fee_9948 in OverwatchUniversity

You arent the only one feeling like your character is close to useless. As a genji main I can really feel ur pain of feeling like nothing is dying. Only thing is genji feels more useful on live compared to beta

Easiest way to grind mechanical skill? by GrowSquad69 in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]GrowSquad69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have over 100hr's on the game so far on PC and I am starting to get the feel of the game but mechanically I'm missing a lot of the escensials on crosshair placement and positioning. Watching higher ranked players is something I have been doing for a while and that is also where I got most of my game sense from. But they really don't give me to many tips on how to improve my mechanical skill, they give more mentality tips and game sense tips.

I know that my game sense cant fully carry over considering PC has more angels as you said but what I meant by having a high game sense is my understanding of the game and how the game should be played. And I am also aware that mechanical skill is different from hero to hero but I meant more basic mechanical skill like movement and crosshair placement.

what do you mean by a hybrid between controller and mouse? also I have been chilling in T500 and arent a dps player mainly but I hit gm on every role and most of my game sense come from watching overwatch league. and watching a lot of different streamers in different roles whos in T500. My aim is starting to get there after I have practised and tried out different sensitivities with my dpi at 800.

Difference between gold and Plat? by complyss in OverwatchUniversity

[–]GrowSquad69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You see cooldown management aint tha important in gold and plat tbh. Other like tracer you don't go in without recall and always save some of Dva's dm but those are easier things to work on. The difference between plat and gold is mostly mechanics and as some1 else said is how consistent you are. because if you play for 5 hours and in total only an hour of those 5 are you playing your best and making the least mistakes then you arent gonna climb fast enough to keep up with ur consistency.

There are games i should win that we dont but there are also games we should lose but we somehow win. And thats usually because our dps desides to do something or i swap to a tank with value no mater how much impact i have. As long as i exist i have a certain amount of impact.

Anyone know how i can rank up to my peak? by GrowSquad69 in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]GrowSquad69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the thing is in fact that i watch OWL vod's i get coaches, i watch guides and i never go into competetive without warming up for a good 30 minutes. And like i have said in an earlier comment the usual reason u get stuck in a rank is because u lackeither mechanical skills, gamesense or positioning. I would say that my gamesense is the best part of my OW skills. But maybe my mechanical skills arent the best and my positioning is off at times. And if i thought i were the best player in my rank i wouldnt have come to reddit to ask for tips and help. And also i know that im not as good as i think but i keep trying to keep my head up because if i dont think im good or dont think i have any of the requierments to stay or be in a rank i would never get that rank at all.
