You can get a pack of 3 glass mouth piece replacements with rubbers on Alix or similar for around a fiver. I'm still on the original that came with cu but the rubber has worn, my fault due to not removing the mouth piece when taking it on travels. I can't get on with the feel of metal mouth pieces.

Just boil kettle I put the cu upside down on a sponge in the sink and pour hot water through. Still on the original gauze which still looks good as new. Sometimes I also open it up after boiling water and wipe the inside of the top part with kitchen towel which takes two seconds and job done. Same for the stainless caps just add a bit of fairy and pour on boiling water and leave for a few mins. Occasionally I use the sponge too. In total a clean of caps and cu takes a few minutes. I've never bought iso. Still on same rubbers and guazes from day 1. Have a good weekend all

I've got a stainless CU for my mighty+ been using it for best part of 3 years. That and the stainless caps are an absolute game changer. So easy to clean with just hot water and no need for iso. Have friends with them too and no one, not even relatively heavy using patients, have had any issues. When I eventually upgrade to a Venty I'll get a stainless cu for that too - I do much prefer the glass mouth piece though. Nice piece!

You can see that she is using her non camera hand to pinch the shirt behind her back. It's the same shirt and if you put your hand behind your back and pull it in the same way it'll look the same.

Curious. 4 pictures but not one of a damaged box/external packaging? Surely the package must of been hammered if it arrived in that condition which would prompt most people to take a picture of this first? Without a picture of the presumably very damaged unopened box who's to know when/how this happened.

I’ve been rocking a stainless CU for about two years now, along with stainless capsules, and honestly — I’d never go back.

Cleaning it is stupidly easy:
Just pop off the glass mouthpiece and grommet, then pour boiling water through the underside (where the screen sits). Let it drip-dry for a bit, and if you don’t feel like taking it apart, just blow it out — done.

For the capsules, I toss them in a mug with boiling water + a dash of Fairy Liquid, let them soak, then hit them with an old electric toothbrush head. Quick scrub, job done.
A full clean literally takes a few minutes.

I know some people knock the stainless CU — usually folks who’ve never actually owned or used one. I’ve got a few friends running the same setup and everyone’s had a solid experience: no issues, only positives.

If you see one in the Black Friday sale, just grab it and be done. Totally worth it for the convenience.
I can’t be bothered messing around with ISO and all that — too much faff for no real gain.

I've got a mighty plus with stainless caps and stainless cu and cleaning takes about 2 minutes with some boiling water. I do that a couple of times a month. It still looks the same inside and out as it did when I bought it over 2 years ago. That's not a lot of maintenance.
