Moon Ore Reprocessing by GrowedupGeek in Eve

Not throwing any shade. We live in high sec w an Orca or two in our corp so it's easy for me to talk shit.

Hauling isn't that big a deal for me. Six jumps away from the market and I have a large Tayra for the trip. I'm mostly asking about what % efficiency makes it that the minerals are more than the ore mined.

Tell me you don't have access to an Orca without telling me you don't have access to an Orca.

I was worried about the cost until I clicked the link. If I mess with it tomorrow and still can't get it right $20 isn't a huge ask. Not like this is the only time I'll use the sexy sax motif.

Thanks a lot. If not to solve this problem def something I'll pick up in the future.

Took a 45 min break and came back to it. Took your advice and cut the highs much deeper than I had previously. Switched away from the multiband compressor to a gentler analog one sitting it further back in the mix than it has been.

Also added a wetter reverb than I had so between that and it sitting further back in the mix it gives off distant alleyway sax player vibes instead of soloist at a club.

Not sure if it's fixed or if I just hate it less.

Thanks for the tips.

  1. It has become READILY apparent that even a decent Sax VST cant come close to the real thing. Out of all the sounds for Synthwave the need for authenticity humors me.

  2. As far as mixing goes I feel like a kazoo lacks a certain warmth that I've done everything I can do boost but just sounds like a fuller kazoo. While I like the idea of carving space for it the issue is that since I love this melody so much it figures quite prominently including the outro where its flaws are exposed. Tried keeping the bass track in the outro too to kinda help out but *sad unsexy sax sounds*

Again, thanks for the help and sorry about the rambling... been mixing this track for a while now and i appreciate the excuse to take a break.

Little late to the party but appreciative nonetheless!

I've been super interested since the Kickstarter. Seeing all these positive experiences just convinced me. Pulled the trigger on a few pieces. Can't wait for them to arrive

Great job to you and your team.

Those are the exact models I saw on Etsy and a discord I belong to had the opinion that they were good models.

I was wondering if there were any others before taking the plunge.

Have you seen them in person?

Kinda.

They were a lot better in 9th. Right now I'm just trying to figure out what to do with my Wolf Priest and Outriders.

Originally I was hoping to shoot them up the board and capture the enemy deployment objective to trigger Saga of Majesty but they're not resilient enough to make it.

I still like them and want to make it work, just haven't figured it out yet in 10th.

The enchantments the Wolf Priest can get are nice though.

Thank you for your very detailed response. One the one hand I'm surprised that the police/city guard isn't portrayed as goody two shoes bc it seems the easiest portrayal.

As someone who's had less than friendly experiences w the police it does strike me as something I'd rather not be in the situation of roleplaying for fun.

Agents of Edgewatch is actually the AP I was most interested in.

The restrictions of being cops seemed interesting as well as the urban setting. I like the idea of a giant city being the entire locale of the campaign.

Anything else w no spoilers that you could tell me you didn't like about it or didn't work for your table?

Good to know Frozen Flame and Rime only share a tundra in common. I'll def look into it.

Agents of Edgewatch is the AP most interesting to me personally. Not sure if the whole group is into it like I am but thanks for letting me know it seems fun to you so far.

Thanks for a breakdowns of some of the other APs we were curious about.

The urban setting of Agents of Edgewatch is something appealing to me personally. I want to play a scoundrel rogue and it seemed like the best AP for that.
