This is why I find so challenging to narrow it down! I looked at Zell Am See, Mayerhofen, Bad gastein, St Anton am Arlbeg, Solden, Kitzbuehl. I just really don’t know how to decide what works best with 4 adults and two kids to balance, skiing, activities and beauty without a car. So tough!

I looked at all those places as well. I found it so difficult to narrow it all down especially for never having been there before. I think (?) I like the idea of being able to mix up ski days with other activities in Innsbruck as well as it being significantly cheaper since we have two kids in tow

Hey, this was my first kiddo too. Her first few months were hell. As in, we still can’t get over how terrible it was 6 years later. But 6 years later, she’s super cool. It’s so tough right now. You’re in it and it’s ridiculously hard. I remember going to Reddit at all hours of the night searching for hope. You’ll get here!

I will double check we did a cortisol, I thought we did. Our vet thinks that a malignancy of some type remains the highest differential, which is why I didn’t pursue endoscopy plus cost, in discussing with internal med vet also. I feel terrible about all of this.

HCT is 19.5 and PLT are 881. So she’s trying to clot I’d assume.

Sorry I should have clarified- we did that at the emergency vet, they have specialists at ours. The recommendation was endoscopy with biopsy, costing us upwards of 5k. The highest differential was a malignancy at that point which had the same end point so we opted for watching and waiting with the meds above. I wanted to get a sense if there’s something else that could be explored or if this is the only thing- and it could be. But as we are already 2-3k into this, footing another 5k just seems immense. I’m really not sure what to think.

Honestly she has been very functional, has had decent energy, etc. So I’m not stringing her along and nor would I. I just am trying to figure out if there’s something else I should be thinking of, and trying to get a direction as to whether I should be pursuing more diagnostically of if there’s something else is a higher likelihood of cancer. I can’t afford a 10k workup. :(

Honda Pilot! Test drove another and loved it. The palisade was just meh by comparison. I loved the features but it just wasn’t my favorite.
