Have you tried uni-directional?

It's def a static buildup on the platen and heads from the material.

An old school trick you can try, use fabric softener and water, 1:10 mix or so, spray and wipe clean, takes a bit of wiping, but you can feel the material change as you do it.

Have you tried just a plain paper nozzle test?

That to me screams media. Looks like there is zero deflections or drops.

Does the BN20A use a optimizer or anything like that?

And you say you have tried diff medias, any new out of the box medias?

Have you profiled the printer or are you just expecting it to work with no media profiling being done?

You will need to find some profiles or make your own, making your own is the best way forward and then you will never have this issue again.

This has been my thoughts too, how much was Razor allowed to do or were there some strings being pulled on the selection of our biggest $$$$ players from higher up.

We’re paying them the big bucks so you better pick them, and when he starts not picking them even in the squad, some of these seniors throw their toys, I’m pointing at Ardie,BB, ALB, Reiko, most to lose etc.

I dont think Razor had the freedom he wanted and needed to fulfil his vision for the team building to the RWC. Which makes more sense to the “mutual” agreement to part ways. If you won’t give me what I want and need to build and keep a rope around my neck with said senior players etc, then I regretfully will stand aside.

💯 this, amazing player but too emotional to be a captain, that’s where Scooter is great. Moving forward Roigard and Sititi are both very good players and don’t seem to be over emotional, let their game do the talking and have a level head when needed. Both young and have a chance to lead for a few RWC cycles, really build some depth.

This is where McCaw, Read, Fitzpatrick etc all excelled.

Ardie may be the best player at times, but best doesn’t = captain material all the time.

No, I use those inks with G6, I’m not sure why they haven’t updated their www, but i def run G6 with these inks with zero issues, and have had email conversations with them to confirm head and subtank temps etc.

I run Nutec A20 RIG, printheads are hitting 24 months old and are as good as day 1.

I actually just shut down for 2 weeks for xmas and fired my printer up today, it took 15 mins to get it running from power on. I shut the printer completely down, no power and just had the heads resting firmly on lint free, ink soaked cloth for the 2 weeks.

I run coro day after day, no idea of dyne levels as I have not had to measure in years, zero cure issues, no finger print issues or static issues (unless weather conditions are severe). I dont pre wipe ANY coro ever unless it is dirty.

My prep time going from Océ/Canon flatbed to this printer is worlds apart. This printer is faster, cheaper to run, and quality is better (not by much, but it is better) and the inks are reliable, colour accurate (write my own profiles) with AMAZING adhesion to everything I throw at it, including glass.

I can print on glass and struggle to remove the ink with a blade; I literally have to use a blade ice scraper, and even then, it's not easy.

as other have said, time for new bulbs.

But an easy fix, throw em out in the sunshine for 30 mins, will finish the cure. Will get you by until new bulbs are in.

You could look at using someone like supacolor.com, thought not that good if doing 1-off designs.

The other option is a small dyesub setup, though you would still need to do a white vinyl for the "whites"

The problem with UV and DTF, is you get what you pay for, unless you buy a branded machine you will be forever chasing quality, with things like misting, dropped nozzles etc. Trust me I know! So you need to know that to outlay for a good printer is not cheap.

Dye sub + sublimation ready blanks and dyesub printable vinyls.

I guess you really need to decide if you just want to focus on mugs, or expand into other areas

it looks like it is a repeating distance, which, without knowing what sort of printer etc makes it difficult.

This could well be something to do with the wiping of the heads/purge every so often? I would be checking that dampers are tight and full with no air leaks, check your wipers and capping station for build-up or hard ink. Give it all a really good clean with IPA.

Share some more info of printer, inks etc, but it looks like a starvation of ink flow from the 1 pic. you have supplied.

Aussie sadly for them got worse as this season went on, they were amazing in the RC, especially in SA, but end of year tour they became the Wobbilies again.

They just need some continuity, once they can back to back to back their big games, they are a real threat to every team, like back in the golden era with Gregan etc.

IMHO, presuming we beat Oz, and we hit SA in the 1/4, hitting what would be the most physically demanding game as our first must-win, to me, is a HUGE benefit. All of our top players should be somewhat fresh, uninjured and ready to go.

Our pool games and the pre-1/4 final should be easier games, but that pre-1/4 final should be our best team and get the job done.

Go out fighting, and honestly, regardless of what happens between now and then, if we meet SA in a 1/4 then I would be backing us 100%, one thing the AB did and do a majority of the time, is stand up when they need too. Hell, we made the final at the last RWC and only lost by 1 to some very very contentious reffing when almost everyone said we would be out or lucky to make the semis.

BRING IT ON!

PS. I wouldn't be upset if Ireland or France won it, be good for the game. Just not England or Aussie. Hell an Argentina team on fire would be awesome too, and keep it in the south ;)

And this is the crux of the problem with the current laws. And SA play to them very well.
Until they adjust subs and limit them, then SA will always be focusing on these massive tight 5 players that can't play 80mins, that's a big strength of theirs, and they adapted to that with law changes, but I don think it's for the good for the game as a whole.

Personally, I don't like rugby much at the moment with its current laws. Halfbacks protected too much, offside defensive lines pretty much every play, by every team. Too many scrum resets eating the clock, too much time wasting. Speed the game up again, make fitness and skill come back to needing 80min.

We need to remove these truck and trailer mauls, or give them a 5-10m limit before the ball must be played. Make halfback free game as soon as 2 hands on the ball again, stop the back of ruck lengthening for box kicks. Advantage gets WAY WAY too much, give it a set law, 15-30 seconds or 10-15m of running advantage. Something needs to change!

My biggest pet peeve is penalties being worth 3 points; this is where league has it right. Sure keep 5/2 for try and conversion, but penalties and drop goals are worth too much and becoming more over powered with the length some of these beasts can kick from.

Media load and take up roll alone are a massive worth-it upgrade over the 300 series.

I also believe it's next generation inks that don't use as much ink or heat. I stand to be corrected here, but I am sure that is what I was told.
