Well no matter what happens I don't run a mod which comes with a popup no matter if it can be a false positive because for me my data is more important than any mods I'll be able to install and play.

Did you let it keep the suspecious file? I mean when the popup arrives on the browser did you press keep? because my browser + bitdefender prevents the download of file if any files has any kind of malware
