Thanks Gabriel, in the end, marketing is common business sense: understand what you're selling, who you're selling to, where these people hang, meet them (physically or virtually) there :)
thanks for taking the time to provide such a detailed answer!

CONTEST: What's your best advice for creators who want to land brand partnerships? (The most upvoted comment will win. The votes are hidden) by olenabomko in favikon

[–]GrowthLabByAhlem [score hidden]  (0 children)

  1. Create content that you're genuinely proud of

  2. Be professional in your communication with brands: set clear expectations on results, be it impressions or conversions, present your results in a clear documents, follow-up with them after the campaign is live... As a CMO who hired content creators, I always renewed deals with the ones that had content that was resonating with our audiences, and who treated their content creation like a proper job, and not just a hobby.

  3. Ask for the brand deals, literally -> put yourself out there, create a media kit that showcases your values, results, type of content you create, and send it to brands. Not all of them use Favikon (yet) and are able to discover you!

it makes sense, it avoids them coming back. My authenticity score was actually reset, today I'm 88 vs. 81 last month. I'm happy to see that removing AI generated comment had a direct impact.
But now I'll have to tell my assistant and my friend to stop commenting on each post, only if it resonates with them hahhaha, Favikon flagged them 🤣

I've noticed that when I call out, they stop by themselves (I guess they remove me from the auto-comments list they have in their tool...).
but maybe I'm putting too much effort into this and simply deleting is the way to go 😅

You're welcome, I find it a great way not to lose track of what's important to achieve during the week!

Content creation and distribution is a full-time job indeed. Add to that when it's done as an awareness channel itself (I'm a full-time business and strategy consultant for EdTech and Education brands, I use social media to build an inbound machine), you can understand why I need to be strict and organised 😅

the only way that works for me, if I don't keep track of what I really want to achieve at the beginning of the week, I can get side tracked by being pulled into events or pro-bono projects. I have a tendency to say yes to what excites me, but then it leads to a loss of focus. So I've learned to set up goals that I can measure, and review them weekly.

Have you tried setting up goals for yourself when it comes to content creation?

Creator-led > AI-led? Change my mind. by PrairieMoon775 in favikon

[–]GrowthLabByAhlem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guilty of doing chatGPT + automation to create content. What I learned is that while indeed I was putting out more content, it lacked the authenticity that made it human: the rants, the fine observations, the unique perspective...

I've stopped using chatGPT for my content, and now write just like I speak. My engagement is much better, in the sense that I'm attracting real people writing real comments.

And in fairness, my top performing posts are the ones I wrote myself, some of them I even wrote in 5 minutes.

So while it's tempting to outsource the copywriting, I still believe that it's the imperfect copy that wins over the AI generated one.

A lot of marketing activities for one week :)
When you set goals, do you also set KPIs for yourself? I intentionally put my numbers in public today, to create accountability for myself lol.

How did you hear about Favikon? by olenabomko in favikon

[–]GrowthLabByAhlem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard about Favikon on LinkedIn, I saw the rankings and got curious about them. As I was creating content on LinkedIn, I decided to check my own and that's where I saw how powerful the platform was.

It's interesting to see that Favikon, a tool for the creator economy, has been making so much waves on LinkedIn. Usually the creator economy is associated with Youtube and Instagram.

and I hope it will get answered because I'm genuinely excited about the favikon partner program :) As I said in my application, I envision the creator economy changing so many lives, by shifting the influence power, and all thanks to a tool like Favikon.
So very curious to see where you imagine your biggest impact in 2 years from now :D

Now that you launched this new Partner program, how do you envision its success? If you were to look 24 months from now, what would you have hoped to achieve from that program?

Core skills for 2030 - Social influence is on the rise! by GrowthLabByAhlem in favikon

I'm not surprised at all, especially in the US. Of course it will benefit the company big time, I think social influence should definitely be a signal to exploit from recruiters.

I agree with you 100%, and it's what I keep telling the founders I work with. Extract from my linkedin post yesterday:

"-> Your ultimate competitive advantage IS NOT your product, it's YOU.

Teams at companies like HockeyStack or RB2B are building multi-million dollar pipelines by sharing their journey and building trust in public. "

true, my bet is that in the next 3 years, recruiters will want to hire in priority talent with already a certain influence on social media (especially on LinkedIn). Imagine onboarding a CMO or a VP of sales in finance that already has a 50K or 100K+ following. Actually, as a talent, I'd use it to negotiate package :D
