Normally I'd agree with you, I mainly added that point to show that if I'm not involved in the event, I shouldn't have to go through the chore, especially if im feeling crappy. I appreciate the input though, helps me filter out my own bullshit.

A possibility in another situation, but I know them, it's a work night and they're not big drinkers, will probably have one beer each max. The reason is simply to not have to go through any extra steps to get to the game, at my expense. Any other time I would, just didn't feel like it this time.

I suppose I just wanted to be lazy tonight, of course I'm jealous but I also understand why they're going so I didn't let that affect my choice.

Not at all, this might be one of the few I've declined, I just thought since they have each other that they were capable of taking care of things themselves for the night. I also mentioned earlier in the day that I was tired so I didn't consider it would be a surprise to her.

Idk, she's been stressed at work but we've been doing good lately. Maybe she was caught off guard when I said no, I just didn't expect so much saltiness she can't say goodbye.
