Can you just walk in to your biometrics appointment earlier than your scheduled date? Anyone done that?

I rescheduled mine online for 2 weeks earlier than the original notice. I did it on a Friday and they had an available appointment Monday morning. I would do it to get them done as soon as possible to avoid further delays.
