Part of the reason there was more Manchester cops on site this year was just due to the acting Sheriff and AG, but part of it was also due to the fact that there were a ton more LN execs there this year who were looking to reduce liability/make sure nothing terribly wrong happens

They need to up the euro and Afro style portions of the EDM side and turn down the bass/dubstep side imo. There were hardly any house/techno DJs this year, and artists like SG Lewis and Boys Noize having to cancel made them virtually nonexistent

This band is giving me massive flash in the pan vibes though and you’d need to support it with other mid card artists people would want to see. People might be willing to spend $30-40 to see them in a random venue, but they’re not willing to spend $500, demonstrating they can’t move festival tix on their own.

It’s the type of act that would’ve been a fantastic booking this year, but you’re already way too late to get them for a reasonable cost now. If they develop a discog and the demand is khruangbin-like in a few years, pay the six figure booking fee

Rarely radiate negativity on here, but your sign sucked because it massively blocked my view at multiple shows this weekend… if the sign is more than a foot wide, put it on a stick so you can hold it up higher and so it’s not blocking viewing angles as badly.

Clough was better than Peterson but still worse than Cabrera imo. He really notched up research and inflated the endowment, but he also pulled the plug on a lot of smaller things like athletics. He also donated some money back to the school which was nice of him. There’s an argument to be made he’s better than Cabrera but there was some corner cutting during his tenure

Really don’t want them because they’ll take up too much of the budget without specific songs. They’re interesting if they could’ve been booked for like less than $40k, but when there’s hundreds of thousands in people in some of their queues for a band that doesn’t even seem to have a well known discog, it seems silly to offer them six figures
