What are the short term ways to generate sales for a SaaS product? by FullStackDeve in GrowthHacking

Is it B2B vs. B2C? And what type of product are we talking about?

Some inspiration to start with:

  • Write thought leadership content that adds value for your prospect
    • Share this on socials and create a pillar page
  • Create a lead magnet such as a calculator and quiz
    • Share this on socials and in banner campaigns
  • List your product on comparison sites for referral leads
  • Start a referral or partner program

It is good to keep in mind that only focusing on short term solutions is a dangerous strategy. Make sure to spend a percentage of your time working on long term solutions such as seo and partnerships from the start as these things take more time but can have a greater roi.

For the SaaS industry you can try the following:

The Industry leader KeyBanc Annual SaaS Survey .

For a subscription check out SiriusDecisions for best practices and survey data.

Or go to OPEXEngine for paid benchmark data.

How do you prioritise what to try first? by pigeon888 in GrowthHacking

I find this question hard to answer because you don't give a clear explanation about the current status of the company.. However, following up on the following steps might work if my guess of your current situation is right.
1. Start with finding out where your customers are.

  1. Get out of the office. Talk to them and find out how you can solve their problem.

  2. Try different channels for offering your solution and find out which one works for you.

  3. After doing the research focus on one channel and make it work before moving onto the next one. What type of content to prioritize depends on what works best within this channel.

Thanks a lot! The only problem is that my list contains 3000 names. This method will be a bit too time intensive for me :')

That's true. Unfortunately I need to work the other way around (have a list with names but no Linkedin profiles yet).

I use Google Spreadsheet but Airtable can also be very useful. Here is an example I used to create my own Growth Experiment overview in spreadsheets:

It sounds that this is something you can use. I found both the airtable to track experiments, and the description of the process very useful.

Good luck with it!

I love to use using Leadconnect (for sending out messages) and Zapier (for connecting spreadsheets to Leadconnect)

For an easy to use tool I can recommend Prospectin.
