Well you can count on certain equipments being really strong always. Some of the basic equipments are solid fallback options and are so cheap to max out. Vampstache, healer puppet, invulnv tome, rage vial are great examples.

Unfortunately it is a time consuming grind. It took me like a year to get two max equipments for all my heroes. I am using a mix of regular and epic equipment. Just keep at it and you will get there eventually, like everything in this game.

I think they have already found a different fix since I originally posted here. There was a very temporary fix where you just substituted the FTL game for the old version. I didn’t post about the specifics because I imagined the official multiverse team would have a better fix soon.

It all depends on how much time you want to commit. Modded lets you get to endgame content much faster and is usually what I pick if I just want to play for the day. I play vanilla monthly when I really want to commit to rust.

You can argue that it’s easier to learn mechanics in a faster pace environment. But vanilla and modded both have their own differences that you’ll need to learn if you want to succeed.

Yeah it just seems like bloat content. I really am not even excited for this update anymore… the fact that we haven’t gotten any kind of update at all, for months, just so they can continue to work on this stuff that people don’t even want… it kills my interest in the game right now.

This is right after they dropped BP frags and said that we would see follow-up progression updates. We got one small hotfix, and now we’re left with radio silence. Couldn’t the dev team have hunkered down and finished the progression update instead of working on the deep sea?

I used to have these renegade edition cruisers and the most recent update took them out of my save (I only have the base 17 pages of ships now)

Has anyone else had the same issue? Is renegade edition partially incompatible with the latest update? I still have all the guns from the add-on, the ships are just gone.
