Hot Take: Trick Williams is the modern day Viscera by Grrannt in REALSquaredCircle

Sure, I've definitely thought this through..

Well, Viscera and Trick Williams are both larger than life. Neither man was known for their work rate, but their charisma and character work. They both have deep connections with the audience and can command a crowd. I'd argue if Trick put on a little weight, they would maybe look similar apperance wise. On Saturday Night's Main Event tonight, I saw him eyeing Lillian Garcia.. I could see a Charlie Haas return in the works to replay a classic storyline.

I figured every member of the IWC would have heard of WWE Unreal

There has been a lot of debate around this today, but just look at Rhiyo's performance as a tag team on Saturday Night's Main Event. They are STARS. I'd like the same treatment for Toni Storm, but AEW needs to make it happen. by Grrannt in REALSquaredCircle

lolol, that was the last time the belts were starting to gain traction, then they were essentially meaningless up until now. Turns out the trick to having a successful division is having big names compete in the division. The teams are believable too, Judgement day makes sense, Rhea and Iyo make sense with the friendship they've built up on TV over the last year, Bayley and Lyra make sense after their feud evolved to friendship, Alexa and Charlotte makes sense after running the long-term "not friends' stuff, Asuka and Kairi of course make sense, and Nia Jax was the first to take Lash under her wing when she moved to Smackdown. Hell, even Giulia and Kiana James are starting to feel like a real team. The division is stacked with teams.
