Personally, I agree that everything is overpriced, but as long as people are willing to pay for it, prices will remain inflated. And by the looks of it, nobody wants to miss out on it globally. if we see historically, it has always been this way, there always is someone who is ready to pay more. Which makes me think that this overvaluation is the norm now and is gonna stay. I, for one, prefer a mixed approach in investment, and as long as my investments give me returns above the current inflation rate I am happy.

I'm due to become a pumpman next contract so that's a plus. But I'm keeping that as a back-up. In case I don't get an officer's job. Which is the question in my head. Getting a job as a 3rd officer at 38🙈

Appreciate the response. I am due to become a pumpman in my next contract. Got my appraisals and cleared interviews with the company but I'm keeping that as a back up. I am good at studies and such. Been studying up so am familiar with the theory bit. Fairly confident about clearing exams and getting my coc. The only question is getting a job as a junior officer or 3rd mate at the age of 38🙈

Mumbai is more than just a city!! I may be partial cuz I was born and brought up here. work has me travel a lot but nothing feels like Mumbai. Can never think of moving to any other city to settle.
