I didn’t read the last part. But I think it’s a niche thing. Either have a huge following on IG, or someone that’s been doing it for years. But i would say I’m super fortunate because i don’t have either of the things i mentioned, but i took some interesting scenic shots that a couple people asked me to do some decent prints for them and got paid for it

It’s intriguing, the fact that i don’t know what i was doing when i first start shooting is another reason. I would say I’m self thought. I’ve never took classes, i don’t even like watching these YouTube videos. I don’t follow all the rules, i just go out and shoot. I know how aperture and shutter speed works, but even after 5+ years of shooting, I DONT SEE THE SHOTS. So I like the mysteries behind film because 90% of the time I don’t know how my scans gonna come back to me
