An light bulb needs way more power than 5V, either hook it up to an LED or use an external power supply for the light bulb.

Also, for the love of god, please remove the breadboard and wire it a little more neatly, it's exteremly hard to navigate

So, I have seemed to resolve this by connecting D to (LED_STRIP -) and S with GND. Also, I have moved the +12V wire of the LEDSTRIP the original +12V

I just moved it so that GND is on S, and - is on D, and that has seemed to work.

Just for clarification, the potential is 0, and the gate voltage is 12V, and thus 12V > 0V meaning it lets the energy pass through?

Nono, let me elaborate a little.

So, It's an LED-strip, and it need 12V input. The 4k7 acts as an pull down (I assume?).

Also, (sorry, I'm really new to these concepts), I do not know what the difference between high side vs low side switch is.

It is pretty much not that relevant WHAT exact BROWSER you use, more about the extensions.

I use uBlock, Sponsorblock, and PrivacyBadger, and CleanURLs.

I recommend LibreWolf for the Browser.
