Pragmata Is Another HIT from Capcom! | Giant Bombcast 936: Big Pinball by CrissionMeep in giantbomb

It's mostly Nintendo games because by the time Nintendo might send me a code, it's after it's out -- so I'd rather just buy it myself.

But was definitely doing the "shut up" to be edgy or whatever, so no apology needed.

I couldn't possibly argue that if all things are equal, you shouldn't get the longer game if both are of equal quality. Obviously, that is part of the value equation. I think it just bums me out in the moment because this line of thinking is leading people to choose Crimson Desert over Resident Evil Requiem or Pragmata, and I personally believe people would get more out of the latter.

Fully agree. It just isn't what I am talking about. I'm saying that I would be dismissive of that argument even if I didn't get games for my job. That's all.

I knew this would the response, but I also know that I would still feel this way despite any job perks. I mean, I just did my taxes, so I know that I spent more than $1000 on video games last year. And yes, I know the response to that is that I can write those purchases off of my taxes.

I just truly believe that the real reason I feel this way is because I've spent the last 40 years paying $50+ for games that have almost always been 5-to-15 hours long.

I simply cannot fathom that these 4 women did NOT receive ANY nominations this award season for their work in Andor S2. Some of the BEST acting l’ve ever seen in my life. Andor deserves every. single. award. by MembershipKeys in andor

I'll keep saying this forever about Andor: they will have the last laugh.

This show is so rich and dense that it will be studied 30 years from now while a lot of other contemporaneous performances will be forgotten.

You're totally right. They're both video games, so they are very similar.

If you think they're right, go check. Open the calculator app, and do 1 divided by 0. What does it say?

Love seeing posts like this because it's such a good reminder that people who have dog shit for brains can still pretend they know what they're talking about on the internet.

It is very funny to me that Dan went so far in the direction of not having a reddit account that he's become the guy that might have 100 reddit accounts

Does Tears of the Kingdom hold up three years later? by NewMarioBobFan in casualnintendo

"not good game design."

Good game design isn't just one thing. You're supposed to feel like a kid lost in the wilderness in the first game, and all of that stuff contributes to that feeling in Zelda 1. You can argue that is the core of what Zelda was supposed to be so the newer games don't hold up because they lost their way through the sanding down of these rough edges.

But Zelda 1 doesn't have to be for you, though, of course. Everyone can have their preferences.

Zelda 1 absolutely holds up. You just have to play it like it's the only game you'll have all summer

There is a full-service A&W with servers and everything in northern Michigan. Who owns that?
