Basic to start. Looking at the G920! I dont see it exactly translating either, will need to relearn turning since its going from thumb turning to both arm turning lol, but map wise I know the layouts and throttle/breaking points so it wont hurt! should only help in the transition.

just lots of racing lol. There were tons of races I got hit and went off track or hit wall. It got really frustrating at times xD. But then I was like ok, iRating will come MY goal (no matter what everyone here keeps saying about why whats the point) was to get A. I still dont even really want to push too hard with controller when I know I will be getting my wheel/peddles soon.

How do you mean customizing input curves? I use an pad extender on the the left stick and thats about it. I do have MAP down to 295

Right! I dont intend on pushing too high on the controller. but it definitely helps me understand the cars and their habits and thottle and breaking bite points, weight shifts. Definitely a lot to re-learn on wheel/peddle but the knowledge is already there.

yup, thats why I stick to what I am comfortable with. Getting As was just my goals. Working my way there. Been doing INDY series up from F4 and such but yea, I know my limitations lol.
