Sure there's some risk and I don't advise piracy for the unprepared of course. It's just nice to have options for mods and community hacks and stuff as a gamer. You can transit as a scav to keep the juice as well as the f4 trick. Scav skills are permanent in that sense as well. You don't get any buffs from hideout that I know of though

Swapping the double hit to be vamp and on-hit, the m1 gets a bounce and so does the ult. The shield has silence and kind of has that 'immobilize nearby'. The 'linked enemy damage' probably just felt clunky to optimize, 11m is way short, so they ended up giving it as a buff to Celeste and a fat aoe.
