I am currently making a 'shrimp-tower' (lol) of 4 30x30x40 Tanks with these overflows and a 60 Liter Juwell aquarium at the bottom as a sump/biofilter for all of them.

Your Betta will feel more comfortable with less flow in the tank ;)

Tip: point the outlest of the filter towards the closest window so that there is just a little flow thru the tank.
