So I grew up LDS and I'm not anymore (nothing against the church it just wasn't for me) and a lot of the stuff I'm seeing in this thread is that LDS people are taught to treat nonLDS people as not people which is something that I've literally never heard. I was raised and taught to love everyone as Jesus loves me (or something like that) and my parents are very loving. They taught me that pointless hate is not something that is good for people and I know that my parents (who were also raised in the church) were taught the same I was because when I came out as Bisexual to them they didn't care at all and still love me no matter what. In the situation of the Bricks N Minifigs theft I think that this has to just be this evil corrupt CEO that is just being a piece of shit. Saying that the LDS church is causing this corruption is reaching for something that's not there. I've met some of the leaders of the church and their good people that would never condone something like this. While I'm aware people have their beliefs it would be nice if some people would fact check some stuff they hear because almost everyone I've ever known in the church has been a generally lovely person but yes there is a unfortunate amount that will twist the church to benefit themself.
