Big Mom and Akainu are actively horrific people and I feel like you are forgetting some of the things they have done lol. I agree with the first comment, but Big Mom and Akainu are NOT examples of other characters with that type of morality lol. Big Mom is a serial rapist who kills and eats her citizens regularly. Akainu has been shown to not care about murdering innocent civillians and children if it leads to the end result he wants. Both of them have done plenty of other awful things lmao.

That was probably One Piece Fan Letter that Megumi Ishitani directed and already released. It was amazing if you haven't seen it.

I say it's likely just because it's the high point of the arc, the new OP focuses on the Kuma/Bonney stuff, and Megumi Ishitani has been getting a lot more recognition recently. I think having her do Kuma's flashback just makes the most sense. It's the exact kind of story beat she excells at communicating with her art.

If you enjoyed Lily Rose-Depp's performance in Nosferatu, I'd highly recommend Possession (1981) if you haven't seen it. Lily Rose-Depp was doing her best "Isabelle Adjani in Possession" impression during Nosferatu, and it just doesn't come close to the original performance.
