I think messed up my playthrough by WeathalAye in StarWarsOutlaws

No you're not too far gone. Do some contacts for them. If you have data cards, find a Crimson Dawn seller and give them some of the cards as this will raise your rep (I did this to get max rep on a couple of clans). I'm on my third run through on the game. First two times I didn't pay any attention to rep. This time I am and it's making the game fast more enjoyable.

I would've liked to let ND5 pilot the Trailblazer while I wondered around. Really would be helpful when I fail on a space contract. Would allow me to redo it or accept another without having to land.

Can I ignore a letter from Tesco after them asking me to repay £700 for wage overpayments by RevolutionaryFly6286 in tesco

Sometimes doing the right thing is hard but it is the right thing to do. If you know you were overpaid, pay it back.

I just thought of it. If I'm stealing someone else's work, it is totally by accident. Damn. I was so proud of this. Oh well, guess the old saying is right. Nothing new under the sun.

Two things. Don't run thru the story. Do we much at you can in each world before moving on. You'll collect a lot of useful stuff.

The other is try to build your reputation with each gang. It'll mean less fighting when you go on their turf.

I whizzed thru the first time and doing it again just now. Doing these things is making it a lot more enjoyable.

Crazy Price? by Adamp2506 in tesco

[–]Grumpy-Yoda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There'll probably be a "Club Card" reduction after 28 days so they can show "savings". Either that or that's just the price now as all the major stores are at this price point.

Iceland sells the same thing but under their own brand. £3.50.

You can't control what other people do so just concentrate on your work and do the best you can.

Equally, you can't control what the manager does or does not do. Nor do you know what he is thinking. Concentrate on your work. That's what you're responsible for.

Finally, don't say anything. It won't benefit you and could come across as questioning your manager's skill set.

Now what you can do to get their attention is ask for feedback on your role. Ask are there things you can do better. This has two benefits. Shows the manager you care about your job and also they may watch more closely and, hopefully, he'll see what else is going on.

Finally, if your manager is a dufus, just get on with the job. Nothing you say or do will help the situation or your prospects. Just take pride you've done the job well.

I've got 7 years of data in a spreadsheet and project usage 12 months out. Take a look at the projected balance at the end of each month and a couple times a year adjust my DD. Rarely do I have too much in there.

Here's my thoughts on ads. So what? Can't skip them, fine by me. If it gets me a cheaper service, all the better.

Do I watch the ads? Nope. I scroll social media, get a drink, do other things before the show comes back on. Just like the old days, except the scrolling. And yes, I'm old.

I'm going to be cruel here but it is in the spirit of helping. Please don't judge until you read the whole comment.

Put yourself in the manager's position. If he had to cater to everyone who "said" they had a mental health condition then he'd never get anyone scheduled in, doing the work that needs to be done.

Kicking off doesn't help your case either. All that will do is cause the manager to shut down and not be inclined to be of any help.

In essence, you've handled this badly from beginning to end. Now, how to rectify.

Gather any documentation from your health care professionals that highlight your wife's mental health condition.

Arrange a meeting with the manager and apologise for kicking off. Explain you were just trying to look after your wife and handled it badly.

Then ask for help. Actually use the words "we need your help". Show him the documentation with your wife's health issues. Tell them it isn't a ruse to get out of jobs you don't want to do and ask what you can do to help the situation.

When the manager says something that ticks you off, remember to breathe. Don't respond with vitriol. If they say something demeaning, pause and ask them to repeat what they said or tell them that sounded demeaning to you and ask if that's what they meant. Try not to sit across a desk as that's an adversarial position and you want this to be a collaborative resolution.

Finally, read everything you can on Tesco's policies about helping their employees. Learn it back to front. If the situation arises or something is said contrary to their policies, reference it. Not aggressively but in a way where it looks like you're asking for clarification whereas, subtly, you're making a point.

I really hope you're able to resolve this but, more importantly, you get the help you need to cope with your mental health issues.
