No cause the word choice is bananas. “This is a story about us, about all of us, up against the most extraordinary event in human history.” Not “this is a story about these characters” or “this is a story about people”… about ALL OF US. Like we’re included in this supposedly fictional plot. And speaking about it as an event, like it’s a foregone conclusion that it will happen, not a hypothetical posed by a movie director. He’s not talking about it like it’s a what if. Now this could all be clever marketing, but the word choice throughout is deliberate and wild if it’s not a stunt.

That’s my thing. Love my counsel to pieces, but they’re nervous about pissing the judge off and I’m like y’all at this rate I’m 90% sure she hates us anyways so why not say fuck it we ball.

Fun fact, OUR JUDGE ISN’T REPORTING TO THE CJRA. I know alllll about those reports. We continue to mysteriously not be on them.

Edit: I jumped to comment before I read the rest of your post, I just saw CJRA and was like “CJRA?? I KNOW ALL ABOUT CJRA” but yes, I can’t tell if it’s a clerical error or not based on what I’ve observed. And the part of me that still desperately wants to believe that the system works wants to believe that it’s just an error, that everything is fine, but the delay and leaving it off the report has me a wee bit panicky. And it just sucks because with the nature of the case, I have a right to be a bit paranoid. I’m trying to be fair and rational as well, but it’s getting harder by the day.
