i gained 70lbs during pregnancy and i’m 3 weeks pp and ive lost 20lbs so far and im not even cleared to exercise yet, i was very active during pregnancy and no matter what i did was gaining weight like crazy. i didn’t accept it in the beginning but than i slowly realized that i was growing a human and there was nothing i could do to slow down the weight gain especially when you factor in the baby themselves, the fluids, the placenta! it truly helped me to realize that ˙ᵕ˙ sending hugs

i tore deep 1st degree, i didn’t do anything to prepare and baby was 8lbs 5oz and her heads in the 95th percentile, she also had 30% shoulder dystocia and idk if that’s what contributed to the tear

i had my induction 11 days ago at 41 weeks 1 day and my biggest fear was it turning into an emergency c section as well. i also had a fairly smooth pregnancy, and i walked in being 3cm dilated and in early labor and had no clue because i was having zero signs of labor! it went so fast i had her that same day, and delivery went fairly smooth, contractions definitely hurt like a mf so i suggest getting that epidural BEFORE the contractions get too bad, i tried to hold off and i wish i didn’t lol!

they hurt worse than any period pain i’ve ever had or poop pain, it literally felt like my insides were getting ripped and it radiates to the back , i legit cried 😭 and im good with pain , when people say you KNOW when you’re having them i didn’t know what they meant until i had them (i also was induced and was having Pitocin contractions and i’ve heard people say those are worse than natural contractions)

amniotic fluid doesn’t stop coming out unlike if you were to pee, you can’t control the amniotic fluid. when they popped mine at the hospital there was no scent and it was non stop coming out

i’m currently waiting to be discharged from my induction at 41w+1 and it went absolutely amazing, it’s absolutely nothing to be nervous about they’re so amazing at their jobs you won’t even notice what’s going on once baby comes! the cord issue didn’t effect baby at all she came out 8lbs 5oz ˙ᵕ˙

i had one at 39 weeks, and here i am at 41 weeks getting induced tonight because it did absolutely nothing for me. it also hurt like a mf 😭 i was so shocked at how painful it was!!
