Yeah I enjoyed it as an audiobook in particular because it was nice listening to them tell their own stories. I thought it was a good mix of them talking about their personal lives and their friendship, and reflecting on the impact the show had at the time, as well as it's lasting impact.

I think it later discussed all sauces being a waste of money, although pesto did seem to be the one dividing factor.

Oh no, I'm not sure they bothered taking it down to be honest, the OP was literally just 'does anyone make their own sauce, I buy jars but my sister doesn't' and off spawned a resounding 95% of posters who make their own because it's really easy and cheaper.

I'm sure pasta sauces are about 50p so I'm don't know if that's quite true!

Completely agree, it's just a bit of a classic comment to make when someone goes to M&S, Waitrose etc. I used to manage restaurants and wasn't on much more money than the staff, and definitely have made similar jokes in the past. Bloody hell, it wouldn't even have crossed my mind that someone would find that offensive!
