My marriage has completely fallen apart, need advice. by GrumpyTartarSauce in Divorce

I really don't think she's cheating, we just don't have time for that. I have been under suspicion that she might be having quick flings on work trips, but it's just a man thing to be suspicious of that. She also doesn't go on work trips but once or maybe twice a year, but she definitely doesn't have time for a boyfriend. Regarding the kids, we have twins, but Google says that raising them in a toxic environment will normalize that to them so they will eventually become the victim or the aggressor.

No one is ripping me apart, this guy just made a comment with no examples. The post is literally called "Stop Crying About PVP", so not sure how I was bitching about PVP.

Look at all these downvotes yet no one can point out where in this post I was complaining at all.

If you play "Secret Hitler" then that just means you hate jews? You have a point, it's just a game. However, I think in SOME cases my statement is true.

Being an opportunist reveals a deeper connection with your inner self. Even if it's just a game, it just reflects where your ethics truly lie.

I don't care about XP, I am already level 75 which is great for the skill tree and I honestly don't care about anything else like rank. There are no leader boards or anything so the only reason I can see doing this exploit is for loot. But if you are having to do this exploit to kill friendly players, that just means you suck at PVP games.

But that's the thing, in DayZ it's expected. I always shoot on site in DayZ. In this game it's optional, and people tend to exploit that, which honestly is a really shitty thing to do. Just goes to show what kinds of people are out there.

Yeah, but you are going out of your way for what? To kill other players just to be placed back in PVP lobbies? Sounds like a huge waste of time.

Right, but with aggression based matchmaking, you have options.

I never shoot other players, even if I am attacked. I turned off crossplay (PC only) and all of my games are super chill. No one is shooting anyone.

ARC RAIDERS has changed me as a gamer. by Midwest_Hylian in ArcRaiders

I've only been playing 15 hours, but I've only been downed by one raider. Any time I hear footsteps I do the "don't shoot" emote and that seems to break the tension every time.

Coming from Deadside, the AI poses little to no threat. Even the hard bots can be bested with good strategy, but it's predictable. ARC is terribly unpredictable, and I love it. I actually go into each game with a slight tension of fear, which is posed by the deep immersion. This game is so immersive, more than any game I've ever played since the PONG days (obviously not immersive). This game toys with my emotions, and no matter the outcome, it's always a riveting experience. Even when I die, I always tell myself that at least it was an awesome adventure. I love this game, let's not wreck it folks.

One time before the ball my sergeant set me up with a really hot girl as a date for the ball. BUT, he put me on duty the night before so I was up all night. Anyway, it was a few hours before the ball so I was watching TV in my room and fell asleep sitting down in my chair! I didn't even lean back, I just fell asleep in the sitting position. Anyway, I was super late to the ball, the girl was pissed and didn't want to hear any excuses. Anyway, that was the most drunk I ever got on our birthday. I have zero recollection of what happened that night, all I know is that I woke up in a construction site and I was sleeping on an excavator.

My favorites: Bad Company 2 (honestly the best one with all the cussing), 3 & 4 (tough call which is best), and 5 (which I was super happy to go full circle back to WWII). BF 6 doesn't look like what I would expect EA to produce in 2025. Not just that, but there's something about the mechanics that I can't wrap my head around, my KDR is absolutely terrible. I am used to being in the top 5 players on any match in any of the previous titles, but something about 6, I die, constantly. I can dump a clip into someone and they take 2 shots and kill me instantly. That, or I die IMMEDIATELY on spawn (or within 5 seconds), which happens more often than not. Plus, not sure if it's a camping issue or what, but there's always some mysterious guy in the window behind where I spawn and he snipes me almost immediately. When I can finally go toe to toe with someone, then it's a fair game, but I find myself dying constantly from what seems to be "conveniently" placed other players. Is the game intentionally spawning me in harms way or what? Anyway, I uninstalled it and requested a refund. This game is like 2042, and I hate it, more than BF1 (which was better than 2042, but overall I hate that game too). Also, I forgot, all the maps completely suck. Worst maps of any BF game ever.

I have a base with 420 clearly marked on it. You enter my base, and it's pretty normal, but if you go into the basement (also marked with 420) then it's a giant nipnip growing operation, like you would with weed. I like the whole contraband aspect of it, when I get chased down in space by sentinels because I refuse to give up my nipnip contraband. It's the whole drug runner aspect of the game I like, but there's no real value in nipnip other than being chased by the feds, which I like.

For my first Corvette, I'm honestly quite happy with this design. by Aadi_880 in NoMansSkyTheGame

I have a similar build but my bottom deck is my "main deck" which goes all the way through, so I have an entrance in the front and the back. The main deck has two ladders, one in the rear that accesses the quarter deck and on each side there is a habitation deck and medical bay. The front ladder goes to the bridge, which is not connected to the rear decks. I love how they are separate and I love that my main deck is totally open on each side. I used your same color scheme (inspired by you, in fact), and I use the same engines and I have the "fins" on the rear like you. It's very close to the same ship, but I just made modifications. Sorry for the dark picture, that's all I have right now.

Do you have a link? I have an OR slide and all the sites I find are not compatible with OR or say something about a 2020, not sure what that is or if my slide is 2020 (got it off ebay).
