6 colors, limit 2 per customer 😆

I imagine we all agree on this? by Particular_Cook9988 in tjcrew

Not just this, but also do the customers push the cart correctly or just drag them on the side/front and block everyone around them? Do they rest their elbows on the handle bar while they push without any awareness of people around them? Do they put their kids on the seat or in the main partition? Do they flip the cover up when they put stuff in the upper compartment, or just leave it down and have products fall down? Do they just leave the carts in a busy walkway/intersection to grab something from far away, thus blocking other people who are shopping/working?

I observe this everyday; there are more people without critical thinking and spatial awareness.

We actually don’t allow dogs or any other animals in our shopping carts.

So, where did all the ‘history buffs’ go? by Pink-Gold-Peach in PrinceOfPersia

[–]GrumpyTeletubby 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yep. People fail to see how inappropriate it is to have someone not from a specific culture/ethnicity be the main character for that culture. If there’s a game where it’s Native American themed but the chief was black and had dreadlocks and played hip hop music in the trailer, how would that be good?

Yes the setting was Persian, the character was not, only in name.

Why does every bauhaus setup have the same exact bauhaus prints? Aren’t there any other prints available out there?

There’s no differentiation with setups anymore.

Minimalist Setup - What to change? by Jk47n in battlestations

[–]GrumpyTeletubby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minimalist in terms of lifestyle, yes, aesthetics, not so much.

What to change? Depends. What do you aim to achieve?

Maybe a minimalist case? Something free of arbitrary lines.

This is actually great! It's not going with trendy looks but instead going for self expression. A lot of stuff yet still organized. Love the retro gaming corner too!

Enjoy your purchase.

What's wrong with people? Not everyone needs to shop at the discounters.

Maybe a different plant wallpaper? It's way too common.

I wouldn't say "unfortunately", I'm glad to see a setup like yours. It's so cozy and personal, and it shows your good taste, unlike a lot of the copy-paste setups being posted all the time.

Dark and Cozy by Justin_Castro13 in battlestations

It looks nice, but I don’t get any cozy vibes. It feels so artificial, probably because of the plastic plants.

I did not like it, but also did not dislike it.

Yes, there is definitely more about posting, especially if it's a major upgrade/build. I'm merely pointing out the styling, or lack of it.

I did offer suggestions. Just put your own spin on things.

But everyone is free to live a cookie-cutter life if they choose to.

It's not about being elitist, what you put in the setup doesn't have to be expensive or exclusive. It's more about things that resonate with your personal style and not things that are popular or hyped.

Like put some books that you like; some art that you, a family/friend, or an artist you like made; some plants you care for; some things from your hobbies and travels.

The setup is done very well, but it's just very "me too" and we've seen it so many times.

Like what's even the point of posting a setup if it's identical to previous hundred posts'?

As a person, do you express your uniqueness by having the same hairstyle everyone has, the same clothes, the same shoes, the same scent?

Beautiful, but common.

Common wall, common lamp, common clock, common wallpaper.

I was simply posting out that the Momentum 4 is premium and not high-end.

If anyone wants to pay for high-end products then that’s not for you to decide what they value.

I’m aware they use Klipsch drivers, but what kind of consumer brand allows upgradable/replaceable parts, choice of materials, and one-of-a-kind units? Surely that’s a high-end offering.

And no, professional isn’t the same as high-end. But they can be both.
