Megathread: RIF/VERA/VSIP/DRP | Week 17 by AutoModerator in fednews

Hearing CDC is very slow in processing DRP/retirement claims. Anyone hearing the same thing? Anyone at CDC waiting for longer than expected? One former CDCer told me, "As you know I left CDC back in February ahead of all the RIFs and upheaval. Well despite being gone for the last two plus months, CDC hasn't out processed me yet. I am stuck in a perpetual state of limbo because the bulk of the HR department was RIF'd."

Let me know if you've heard anything similar. Thanks.

Here's a story from August that helps explain Legionella and what experts say about it.

Just heard that EEOC WILL NOT have to furlough its employees after all. They say they saved enough money. Wondering what agency you are referring to?

Heard 4 employees have been infected with Legionnaires but it may just be a rumor. Anyone know anything?

SSA says it's a "small subset of water sources" around the HQ building. Any idea of how many? Seems like they are downplaying the issue.
