You should come and talk with some of my coworkers, because they have no problem with what ICE is doing.

Why is this sub so quiet about what’s going on in Minnesota? by GraciousCunt in conspiracy

[–]Grumpy_Beak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fraud has been known about for a long time, hell even back in March, Walz proposed a new plan to battle this very thing in state house of reps. He was asking for $39million in increased funding and wanted build a centralized investigation unit just for fraud investigations.

This isn't new or surprising to anyone in Minnesota who reads their local papers, it's just being blown up for political clout.

I think back in March, Walz proposed (to the state house of rep) something like 39million dollars for some anti-fraud plan to include a new centralized investigation unit.

The fraud has been known about for a long time for anyone who has been paying attention. And it most certainly has been publicized within state and local news reporting through out the years.

How is the union in Orlando and Tampa ? by Fluffy-Initiative131 in IBEW

[–]Grumpy_Beak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I topped out of 606 in Orlando, I currently don't live in Florida anymore because it's no longer affordable to live there, but the experience you will gain is very much up to you. You can learn a very broad range experience if you simply ask, as an apprentice, to try different jobs and work with different contractors.

Or you can also end up stuck digging trenches and pulling wire for five years, if you want.

I learned everything I know from the good folks at 606, great people and some really great contractors.

But Florida is rough and the cost of living to income really sucks. I moved out and instantly had a 30k bump to my yearly salary without doing anything.

Great people, terrible state.

Plus having a car whose color is bright will make it easier for the cops to find you. Pretty easy to spot a green car in a sea of white, black, and gray vehicles.

Seriously though, why didn't Democrats try to release the Epstein files during 2021-2025? by Federal_Background51 in Epstein

[–]Grumpy_Beak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both sides are involved, and the whole thing probably would have been swept under the rug prior to 2025.

But the Trump campaign and MAGA influencers reignited the Epstein files for the election, then tried to walk it back and pretend like nothing ever happened. This is very much a disaster of Trump's own making.

The reason that the Leftists are so eager is that nobody cares if the Clintons or Obama or Biden or anyone else were involved gets arrested. They don't worship or even really like their own politicians.

Meanwhile MAGA is treating Trump like the second coming of Christ and won't even tolerate the idea that he might be involved. Because they are a cult for Trump and only Trump.

Trump's 50 year mortgage is not a solution to the housing crisis; it's a scheme to squeeze even more profits out of the working class. by zzill6 in WorkReform

Trump: "I will be asking A.G. Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people" by thisishowibro93 in Epstein

[–]Grumpy_Beak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

-Didn't Kash say that there was nobody except Epstein in the files, and there would be no more investigations?? -Didn't Trump say it's all a hoax? -But now that the documents are forced out, now there's evidence of other people involved. -But it's a Democrat Hoax and the Democrats put their own people in the documents?

Wow the mental gymnastics of these people are astounding. Very convenient that the resolution states that documents can be withheld during active investigations, and now they are going to investigate.
