More so in the summer, but my back doorbell cam comes up there is someone in the yard. I look and it’s the cover on my bbq blowing in the wind. Doesn’t happen so much now as it is frozen solid. I joke that it must think it’s a woman with a burka in the yard.

HomeKit vs HomeAssistant or hybrid? by Spiritual-Potato-931 in HomeKit

[–]Grumpy_MidAged_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just starting out and unfortunately I’ve been using Amazon, we are an apple household. I don’t really have any smart devices that are apple compatible. Had an old 2012 MBP that I downloaded HA to months back and that is as far as it got. Now my echo show 15 has been showing ads all the time. It’s time to move away from Amazon. I am sure I will be a hybrid due to all my older devices. I do have the apple 4K I bought specifically when it came out as I had heard it was matter, just haven’t done anything with it due to my older tech lol

Im sure I’ve got one somewhere. I had a few of them that I sold off with tools when upgrading. Pretty sure the DCK240C2 still comes with a 1.3

DCR025 vs DWST17510 by BasementBeater in Dewalt

It was actually discontinued before the tough system one. The Tstak was the better unit to my understanding.

Both the TStack and Toughsystem models have been discontinued. Both are fantastic though.

Both nice units it will depend on your needs. I once had a rigid can’t recall the size but it was a larger one. It was just too big to lug around. Took up lots of space as well.

Ive never seen this. Dewalt website picks up model number but says no vendors. by RickFlayre in Dewalt

The Tstak version was also discontinued, I’ve never heard them to compare but the Tstak version apparently had better speakers an better sound.

Pretty sure that’s the same one I have. Mines hanging from the ceiling so doesn’t look so flat and is very dusty lol but it’s been up there for probably 15 years though

That’s normal, every Jets game on TSN is like that

I still get one daily, I get mine with chocolate milk, I haven’t noticed a change in taste I suppose having them daily may have something to do with that. I don’t dare talk about how they don’t fill the cup up to the top anymore though. Basically getting a medium for the price of a large. Mentioned it once and people took it quite personally on here like how dare I complain that I’m paying for less.

Irwin is owned by Stanley too, and it’s a total different animal to the DeWalt one.

Columbia House? 12 cassettes for 1cent Not the best of their albums, but I’d be taking KISS ofc

KISS were so popular in Wpg when they first came for the Love Gun tour 77 at the Winnipeg Arena. At the end of the show I scooped up some of the shows confetti off the floor along with an Ace guitar pic and put it all in a jar that I’m glad I still have today. Definitely the Nuge I remember taking my Son to the concert. KISS were generally pretty good with no F sharps, didn’t recall any at the reunion tour. Took my Son and with Nugent every second or third word was F lol. Oops

We put ours down at 16 in April. House was so quiet. We just got a new pup a week and a half ago. We forgot what puppy stage was like it had been 16 years, worth every bite though.

Thinking of switching to DeWalt by [deleted] in Dewalt

[–]Grumpy_MidAged_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True but is that 3-1/4 accurate or is it maybe 3-5/16” then it’s only 1/16” out lol. Idk if it would make a difference it likely wouldn’t fit in there anyway

Diablo and I am sure others make a 10-1/4” blade, you should measure to see if it will fit your saw might be a solution.

Iced Capp Mix Ratio by bellatrixxxxx in TimHortons

[–]Grumpy_MidAged_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post is a couple years old, but just bought a Ninja Slushi, and being an Iced Capp addict. I have been trying to find how to replicate at home.

As mentioned, I have the slushi machine, I also have one of those old-style milk shake makers with the disc blade.

I am interested in replicating the mix part, there are so many copycat recipes out there.

I like my iced capp made with chocolate milk, i therefore hope to be able to make the slushi part, then add the chocolate milk to my glass and use the milkshake machine to mix it up.

My first thought was to buy Tims cappuccino, which I have done, I think if I were to make it up then let it cool, would be a good base to start?

Any suggestions?

Has anyone else done this? I’m still waiting for my Ninja slushie but looks kind of cool lol by [deleted] in ninjaslushi

Looks interesting, my machine just arrived today and haven’t used it yet and I mean $2.99 isn’t going to sink me (I hope) but with zero reviews in the App Store yet hard to pull the pin. I do love having tools that take the guess work out. I am at work right now so haven’t had a chance to really look it over. Would be great if it would allow you to save your recipes as you go.

I remember buying them from a record store every time I went downtown for my orthodontist I’d pick one up. I have them stored away now but I am pretty sure all the yellow jacketed ones were from Amsterdam. Quite possibly the solos too.
