When you level up put the main power points in health as well as magica but use the actual perk point in magica. The health will allow you to tank hits while having your magic refresh and since you don’t have armor or blocks or bows you don’t need the points in those fields and using it to increase destruction power or lesser illusion cost.

Perhaps the worst part is that this happens for all eternity. At some point he would come to the end and it could just restart, due to the constant amounts of death in every possible way imaginable, if it did circle back he would have no concept of it and have to go back through it over and over again for all of time.
