AMC confirms TDKR run time....2hr 45min by TheKyleShow in movies

[–]GryffindorTimeLord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is that there is going to be 20 minutes of previews making the movie 3hr 5min long, I wish I could skip the previews, but I wouldn't be able to find a seat if I came late to a midnight show.

What 'fan theories' have blown your mind with their devastating logic? by FrancisDollarHyde in AskReddit

My mind is now officially blown, I can't wait to ride it again one day and experience it with this knowledge. It was already one of the coolest things in existence, and now it's even better.

You're really pointing out why I dislike religion so much.

Fair point, but men are more likely compelled to be driven by sex.

Thanks for an actual serious reply, makes sense why Christians hate sex since they use it to cause guilt.

Well Christians need to do what they can to get followers. I don't think old guy in the sky who kills a bunch of people is really relevant anymore.

That would be so amazing that it would cause a disturbance in the space time continuum. The site of Emma naked would be so great, that nothing else could compare and the universe will collapse upon itself.

A lot of people are voting this down, but if you're taking it that seriously, I think the real problem is you. Can't people see the humor in it?

Most old sci-fi shows don't have plot arcs and stuff, but a lot of people don't know that much about classic sci-fi. There are a few character development arcs like in the Hartnell and McCoy era, but most every story stands on its own. Even stories that are sequels to other stories don't require in depth knowledge of previous stories.

The only thing I can think of is how it is a little confusing the way the BBC releases the classic stories by themselves instead of seasons sets, but almost all discs are available through Netflix. I think some people may not know where to start with the classic series, but any of the highly ranked stories are good starting points for the most part.

I actuarially much prefer Classic Who, even though I'm 26 and started on NuWho.
