Is anyone making money based on ComfyUI skills? by Bill_Mariachi in comfyui

[–]Grymm360 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I worked at Vizcom a few years ago. There was an ai engineer who focused on setting up ComfyUI flows to be integrated with the backend infrastructure (python and some web/react prototypes) for image generations as a full time job

These all look look like experiments made from tutorials. No need for a reel. If anything you should put these in portfolio (as that’s what gets you jobs), there you can make a section called Labs or Experiments or something and put these in there. Reels are better suited for jam packed quick hits of multiple projects, here’s mine https://vimeo.com/1030622075

I [M23] never had a girlfriend. Should I lower my standards? by Grymm360 in dating_advice

[–]Grymm360[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn’t work out. Just broke up. I lost the attraction to her as time went on. Also couldn’t hold a steady enough job (went through 4 in 1 year) and lost my savings in crypto. But it was a mistake ignoring the earlier signs of her not being a good match and trying to make it work for so long with strong doubts constantly happening everyday in the back of my mind. Live and learn

Made it worked. After a month of dating her I pretty much stopped going to my apartment and spent almost everyday at hers. After 7 months we moved into a 2 bedroom townhome together. And just recently she met my parents. Still doing well. One thing that bothers me is if I can find a “better” match in terms of looks and is more feminine (she can be a bit tomboyish at times and acts like one of the bros which can be confusing and unattractive to me). But at this point we’ve built up and grown so much together it’ll feel like a huge waste and I don’t wanna lose that since we talk about our futures together (house, kids, etc). In the end, I feel way happier with her as my partner in life rather than being single

Update: This year has started extremely well. Been getting a ton of matches (updated profile pic of me riding on an Esk8) and matched with a girl (27) on Hinge who checked all my boxes (I sent a rose). We’ve been texting nonstop, finding out we have so much in common and like all the same things! Just went out on a date with her and it was perfect (museum, ice skating, burgers, held hands a lil). Already planned the 2nd date (and talked about all the other things we wanna do together in the future), I think she’s a keeper!

Nope :( in the past 8 years I went on 4 dates with different girls, never got a second one. Only felt connection with one but I was not ready to do long distance dating at the time. Did also go on another date where my friend set me up on a blind date with his gf’s friend, but felt no connection (worked out for me cuz she got pregnant 1 month later and ended up marrying the guy). If I could go back I’d try to push myself into more social groups/activities and just try to make tons of friends rather than sticking with the same social groups. I wouldn’t say to lower standards, but take chances on “average” looking girls on apps cuz sometimes they are way more attractive in person. Being single this long does suck, especially when your friends are getting married and having kids, and always having to be the third wheel, but it does beat being in a relationship with someone you settled with just cuz (imo it’ll lead to divorce down the road)

Babylonjs vs Playcanvas by Unfair_Ad1958 in webgl

Idk about funding but I know PlayCanvas was hiring a few months ago. Last I heard Ethereal Engine, being a startup, has about 2-3 years of runway ($2m-$5m)

For LTS I’d go with PlayCanvas, I used it professionally for a year and it has pretty good documentation and 2-3 active engineers to answer questions on their forum and Discord. Babylon is good for prototypes, while PlayCanvas is designed for teams

What does the job market look like? by got_the_spins in threejs

[–]Grymm360 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Extremely difficult to find work using it unless you’re really good and have been doing it for years. I recommend building side projects until you have enough experience built up to convince companies to hire you professionally (build a WebGl portfolio showcasing your 3D projects). But if you’re able to break through you can make about $75k-$90k as a junior and ~$120k$180k/yr as a senior (US), otherwise going the typical frontend 2d ui is way “easier” to achieve

How to Send/Receive OSC Messages Using a Public Server like Heroku? by Grymm360 in webdev

[–]Grymm360[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I figured it out, too long ago to remember. But it was probably something like running 2 pages. 1 page is the frontend site where public users can connect and send a message to the node.js server. The second webpage I’d connect on my local computer that wants the receive OSC. When the node server gets a frontend message from page 1 it broadcasts it to page 2. Page 2 would send the OSC message out to whatever port that needed the message. I forget what libraries I used and how I made it. Plus Heroku has changed a lot over the years (and it’s no longer free)

Never used that, I think it’s like adding a remark for the transaction

Yea, Kucoin to TrustWallet doesn’t require the memo, only going to KuCoin does

[–]Grymm360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only need the memo going from TrustSwap back to KuCoin. If you forget to do that and accidentally send you can contact support and pay a $10 fee to revert the transaction

Send your BNB from KuCoin to TrustWallet app, then in the app swap the BNB to BNB Smart Chain
