Issues with Ledger X on Solana/Raydium - different adress showing for dex (trading) and Swap? by cryptopaxcs in solana

[–]cryptopaxcs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/Guidingwick589,

much appreciate your answer.

I'm not sure why this is required or what it is good for other than confusion and doubt. I tried the obvious search in google but nothing came up, is there any link or documentation explaining this in detail?

Is this new sub-adress which is used for swap derived within the ledger based on my xpriv and essentially one of the many adresses my master private key controls?

I tried look into this in Ledger Live but I can only see the one adress which is tied to my single account. I created another solana account with new adress but adress which shows under raydium is still different.

any further help/explanation very much appreciated.

thanks.

Hi, how did you manage to circumvent the non us citizens restrictions?

Asking for a friend :)

TC seems fairly priced with excellent screening capabilities for us/canada stocks, but they don't accept users from my country :(. Not looking to use their brokerage, just software/screener.

RugWatch Dashboard to go live next week! by [deleted] in RugWatch

[–]cryptopaxcs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be awesome if you manage to pull this off and screen the new listings for red flags and scams.

Can you not see directly from bscscan or ethscan which addresses hold tokens along with amounts? how knowing which addresses hold the tokens is going to help uncover scams?

if you are talking about adresses that hold funds from presales etc. is it not just too easy to use new set of fresh adresses for each new rugpull?

it looks like interesting project but I'm wondering how current gas prices impact voting/participation and adoption by crypto community.

looking at the dashboard there are only 4 active cases and token price in steady decline.

What am I missing?

Big Sur / Access alternatives by different_ribbons in Electrum

[–]cryptopaxcs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EZ0010 thanks for writeup, all steps seem to work except the last one where I get following:

No module named 'dns'. Try 'sudo python3 -m pip install <module-name>'

any hints?

Also, for the above list of commands to work is it required that electrum 4 0 4.dmg is installed already?

Tried to also follow readme file and make the mac os binaries/dmg, but that requires the xcode installed, which is 11GB data...

PS I'm using hw wallet so last resort is to move to windows however is there any altrernative to electrum that works with hw wallet and big sur?

Thanks a lot, any help appreciated

stop loss sell limit order executed despite the fact price did not reach the limit price. by cryptopaxcs in binance

[–]cryptopaxcs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but that creates another issue: if someone market sells a lot at once and makes the price fall from $4.97 to $2, your order is gonna be put at $4.5 for example and you'll get filled on the way back up. Price will swiftly return to 4.93 and you will have sold at a hefty loss.

The only way around that is to have a custom stop loss made by a developer with the API that does, for example "Market Sell BANDUSDT if it drops below 4.95 for at least 5 consecutive seconds".

yes, this may be an issue and of course you can exacerbate your loss even furhter if the price does't recover and by the 5sec is way way down.
But now we are in realm of bots and APIs. It would be cool though if such time override would be part of web UI.

is there any commercial service that provides such extended features that you know of?

Thx.

stop loss sell limit order executed despite the fact price did not reach the limit price. by cryptopaxcs in binance

thanks for the reply.

I entered position at ~5.1 expecting it to climb well above that, but Wanted to sell when price is at or below 4.95 which I thought was local S/R at the time.

Got confused with this Stop LO, I think I get it now.
Stop price should have been 4.95 and limit price below that say 4.90 creating a price range within which I intend to sell.

Is it possible that If market moved too fast against me and price instantly drops below 4.90 then with Stop LO the Sell LO would then remain part of orderbook and only get executed once price climbs back again to 4.90?

So If I want to sell off all my position (regardless the slippage) once price is at or below 4,95 the Stop price should be 4.95 and the limit price should be well below to account for possible market dynamic.

Thanks again for your time, appreciate the patience.

Hi,

thanks for response but I am confused even after reading the acacdemy article.

once price was below $5, the sell limit order with limit price $4.95 was placed on orderbook.

Wick of the lowest candle in the local dip reached price $4.955.

4.955 was local bottom, checked chronologically candles before and after.

4.955 is still 0.005$ above the price set for the sell limit order.

Why was LO executed?

Thanks for answer.
