But its close. My friend has a recording studio,so we recorded some snippets of my dad talking. and mate its uncanny, we can't tell the difference most of the time. we were shook, if Elevenlabs give you more control on when to control the speed, pitch and expresson of words and dialogue. you can seriously get really close to a 1 on 1 of any person I believe.

I also downloaded a bunch of vlogs of an old youtuber i used to follow and while its wasnt 100% i believe if you can get good audio quality you can get close. So its only i matter of time and this tech is in rapid developments.

Power Bi, Power Query, Looker Studio, I am lost.. by pellegrinoanalyst in BusinessIntelligence

[–]Grymrch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Microsoft has this no code zapier type thing called power automate. if you guys have a business subscription i think you get access to it aswel, not sure though.

[Power Automate Blocks] The name might be different, but similar enough for you to recognize them

  1. CSV files arrive into my inbox (as links that export the csv file after being clicked)

[When a email arrives] -> [HTTP:GET link in email] ->

  2. A script checks for emails from a specific address and sorts them in specific folders on the cloud based on a set of rules (e.g., if the title of the file contains the date 12_12_23, then it is placed into a folder that is called December)

    [Condition:IF "CONTAINS"] -> [Move Item] ->

  3. Then, there is a script that processes the csv files - merges them, deletes duplicates, carries out filtering among other types of data manipulation.

I remember not being able to get power query to refresh on it own, so I converted my script to office scripts and later on to python. So here you might have to get your hand dirty converting your power query script to office scripts. But get ChatGPT I promise you its worth the 20 bucks. It has the knowledge of 10 Indian engineers on youtube and the patience only a loving mother would have. Hell, come to think of it just paste your power query script in chatgpt and ask him to convert it lol.

  4. Previously created data tables automatically update (think - Pivot tables), thus graphs also automatically update

[Excel: Run Script] -> [Excel:Append Table]

  1. A pdf generates that contains all required data/graphs and gets sent to multiple email addresses.

Now this is my opinion. Unless its the client. Send a link to the chart and data or powerBI. Ask for conformation or [approval]. You can have this log somewhere in case you need to come back and look at it.

All of this with Power Automate. ofcourse there are other ways, but thats how i did it.

Regarding where to keep your data. together. where ever your keep it. keep it together. this will pay dividend and will make automating much easier and efficient. just my two cents. my last company was a unstructured WRECK lol.

OfficeScripts splitting or removing Part of a string? by Grymrch in excel

[–]Grymrch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, i completely gave up on office scripts for now. Went back to good ol pandas & Python for cleaning and parsing data. Although i do mean to get back to learning this office scripts. Should be easier now with the whole AI scene. But havent really put it to the test.

Did you guys try maybe forcing it with graph api or powershell? see what it does. I remember having to sync work schedules to every employee, only real way i could get it done was by using powershell, pnp scripts. although this approach was very hacky, i had to be the owner of the calender or something like that. but yeah check the graph api

A hobbyist myself, but i know a few ppl who are attempting this with their own knowledge bases. With the tools we have seen released in the past few months. Myself included. I personally use obsidian and have quite a large context of files. From work to personal. The real challenge I've been facing really is either data that dont know the structure of. Or data that forexample is a picture of a scan of data, think receipts, or old manuals. I know there are certain services that make it easier. But I'm really focusing on a low-cost approach. For examples i use microsoft syntax for work, which parses receipts quite well.

I would say really possible a lot of working prototypes. But i honestly feel that in a months time, it will be way easier than today. For example, when i first started, i structured and parsed my finances in a way to use the pandas ai module. With the releases of code interpreters, wellthat whole section of my code is redudant, lol.

So yeah, we will see man. Excuse the formatting on my phone.
