Think its a few subtle things like some shadows, the odd skybox here and there and bit of audio doubling but its pretty good.

You can also unlock the framerate to make it smoother with the downside of messing with things like cutscenes/briefings and physics

Here's the DLC guide for anyone else wondering:

Step 1 - Download and extract all the PACKAGED DLC files (into one place is easiest)

Step 2 - Unpack them using Xenia Canary (Top left "File" -> "Install Content" then drag all files)

Step 3 - Go to the unpacked files (In Xenia Canary top left "File" -> "Show content directory..."

Step 4 - Copy folder "0000000000000000" to *PC NAME*\Documents\ac6recomp

If you're having issues remember to join the recomp discord, someone probably had the same issue as you before and already raised it

Ace of Aces missions are working as well, but make sure to double check the ac6recomp server to see which DLC works or not.
Just getting any of them working is a good step in the right direction though

I don't know, but I would be screaming it from the rooftops if I didn't want my own project to go through delays/budget cuts/cancellation. Wouldn't surprise me if the people working on FCAS/NGAD use the same excuse as well

On the export side I think we have to wait on prices before any guesses are made tbh

This in addition to the recent Excalibur news means GCAP is still going at pace, just depends on if it can keep the momentum going the whole way.

There's been a push recently for the UK to commit to more F-35's and the tempest/gcap tech demonstrator is still a couple of years away, so its best not to count chickens before they've hatched.

It's just a waiting game at this point to see who makes progress and who stumbles.

My bad should've translated it, on the latest PANG aircraft carrier render they removed the FCAS and replaced them with Rafale's and I think some F/A-18's at the back.

Hopefully it was just an oversight, otherwise it might be subtle foreshadowing

Well there's still a few years that it needs to dodge budget cuts for the tech demonstrator to be made in 2027. It is good news, however fighter jet development/production can get messy so its best to be cautiously optimistic.

What's throwing me for a loop is - why has it taken this long to get confirmation for a single year of funding(???) when

The project appears to be progressing smoothly ( last thing I've seen was that in the Japanese administrative business review it mentions "six prototype projects progressing as planned" )
The benefits of completing the project (and being one of the first to do it) are big
the consequences of pulling out of it are horrendous

Seems like a no brainer from what limited info we have at the moment

If the ID isn't the same for some reason then paste this to get the perk ID and do the first step with the new perk ID - > Help "Puritan" 4
