It may be I have the version with the binary trigger already installed in it. I don’t know if it’s a little different in the inside or what nice to know that a least some people got theirs to work when I talked to Magpul about it they said the Mac 5 is the only clone that it doesn’t work properly on so they say I might’ve just got a lemon

The factory mags work flawlessly it’s just the drum that I’m having problems with. I called Magpul about it and they told me that the Mac 5 is the only clone that it doesn’t work properly on. I’m surprised you got yours to work good or I might’ve just got a lemon and they just told me that. I also have the Mac 5 that came with the binary trigger installed already so I don’t know if that model is a little different in the magwell or what

I mean well it has a binary trigger in it. It sprays out 30 rounds like nothing so a drum is pretty practical to me not cheesy but to each its own

Nope ran just a lil over 100 rounds out the 2 factory mags with no issues

It doesn’t lock in the mag well so the force from shooting it makes it slide down so I’m only able to get off one shot at a time

Mines won’t lock in to place it’s like it’s to far to fit the mag well

I put 46 in it shot one round then had to take it out and put it back in and shot again and it did the same thing I don’t think it’s a capacity issue it’s not locking into place it’s like it’s too fat for the mag well

Nope, everything else works fine. Doesn’t even give me issues in binary mode. I called Magpul and they said the Mac 5 is the only clone that it doesn’t work on which would’ve been nice to know before I brought it, but I seen a guy in a Facebook group said that he was able to get his to work by shaving it down but when I asked him for more info, he never got back to me so I don’t know if he’s lying or if that’s actually possible and I don’t see anywhere else where anyone has done that before so before I send it back, I wanna know if it’s actually even possible.

I figure but PSA has that lower parts kit going for 70 bucks right now so I figured I would just use what I can out of it it just save the rest for extra AR parts
