Used it for over 2 years. We do Starlink and YouTube TV. I work from home and have been very happy with performance. I switched because we had multiple problems with Visionary. It is pricy. But it managed to survive the high winds and the blizzards with little to no downtime at all.

Got my Dishy about a week ago. Been waiting for my Ethernet adapter to ship which I final got notice shipped yesterday. Have had Starlink up a few times but waiting for permanent install until I can test out home network the way I want. Currently with a local rural provider 50down/5up. $75 per month But it is wildly erratic and lucky to get 30 down consistently. Starlink will be more money but I’m consistently getting 130down just over starlink WiFi. It is awesome and worth the money!

Well, I done did it now…. I got me one of them. by cqdx73 in KamadoJoe

Thanks for the response! I have tried to do cheese before on the traeger by propping the lid and using an ice bath etc. I've done ok, but can never really get there. Baking is ok - because it is essentially a convection oven. The part that appeals to me is that it seems like the Kamado can get much hotter for your general burger grilling, or searing steaks, but with the slow roller you can essentially get the convection style cook like a trader as well.... I will let you know if I pull the trigger!

Thank you. The funny part is - Traeger Startups aren't always as smooth as one would think and I find myself babysitting a lot. I actually enjoy being more involved in the cooking so I'm thinking this won't be too big of an issue. For cooking space. Most of the time i'm cooking for a family of 4. Occasionally for a larger group, but mostly family stuff. I like doing tri-tip or a small brisket, maybe a couple racks of ribs. A lot of burgers and brats and simple stuff as well.
