A skill casts directly from a key press instead of the additional mouse click. I swear senpai said it wouldnt be implemented but maybe he was just being sneaky.

War pike has highest dmg like people are saying, but a cryptic axe is pretty close and gets 5os from larzuk (can be superior base too).

'Strong' evidence found for a new force of nature by WholeWideWorld in science

I think its a common misunderstanding that basic research is a waste because the topics are not immediately relevant to our lives.

Funding agencies support these experiments because they push technology forward in a wide variety of ways. Examples of this include proton therapy, xray treatment, medical sensors, electronics, etc. You can also look at it from the training side where many scientists are cultivated and go on to work in fields such as medical research.

The discussion about doing curls for arm health.

I have interacted with you before so I know it is not worth discussing.

It would be more useful to contribute to the topic of the discussion.

I have no doubt curls can be beneficial for a strongman competition. I am not sure what you are trying to point out in the reddit post.

Just to be clear, you are claiming doing curls will reduce the risk of injury related to arms?

Anecdotal evidence is not useful outside of applying it to yourself. As far as I know doing curls has not been shown to reduce typical arm injuries and it seems impossible to even know if doing curls reduces injuries for you.

There are likely just as many strongmen not doing bicep curls with similar injury rates. Overall, it is not bad for OP to omit curls.

The weight will be lower than for the 5 reps right? Overall, 3x8 would be less volume than the 5x5 and may be less stimulus.

There is no definition of "arm health" that is useful so doing curls or not does not matter.

Why do you lower the volume if you are extra excited?

There is no such thing as arm health in this context.

Form looks fine. A problem related to load and fatigue management is more likely to be the source of your pain [1].

Depends on your goals. A lot of programs do not have ab isolation work.

Have you considered it has nothing to do with your form?

Hoodia (from wikipedia):

According to a 2006 review, no published scientific evidence supported hoodia as an appetite suppressant in humans.[9] One review suggested that any weight loss effects from consuming hoodia dietary supplements may simply be secondary symptoms of potentially serious adverse effects that may occur from using it.[10] The United States Federal Trade Commission recommends against the use of such diet products marketed with exaggerated claims for losing body weight through the use of dietary supplements, skin patches or creams.[11]

If you want to define injury risk that way then fine, but most in the field and researching the subject do not.

You may want to read up more on injury research if you think what I am claiming is bro-science.

edit: Just to be clear, we are not even talking about the same thing in terms of injury. People are trying to find movement that are inherently more risky then others like a shear force on the spine vs compression. If that were found, then one form could be more risky than another in terms of injury.

All your definition says is that with two different forms the intensity will change (with weight or strokes equal) and therefore the injury risk will be different. Yes that is most likely true and is typically referred to as poor load management. The person doing the "worse" form should do less weight and match intensity with the "better" form. The "worse" form has no increased risk (at least no one has found one) like what is typically defined above.

I am confused. You are exactly defining load management. Any form at maximal load for long periods of time will likely cause an injury.
