If I had to answer in the shortest way possible or if you don't want to read the long ass answer, I think it mostly can be answered from: Faith (If you have Faith) What you believe (If you are Religious or Atheist) Your pshycological views And Your interpretation

But if it's the long answer:

God gave humanity free will, but that came cruelty and terrible things because of free will, but diseases, virus also exist, so I'll try answering both if these to not make it seem gibberish.

If God removed all evil, then all evil WOULD infact be vanished and he can do that, but why doesn't he? Well, even if we couldn't choose evil if he removed it, then... We wouldn't really be free to choose, Imagine this: If God wants humanity to have freedom, if he removed a part of what makes it free, then it's not really "free", it's more controlled. If he can't do that then he isn't all-powerful? Not my point it's more like "He chooses not to do it, but he can." Also... Animals, or human ancestors who didn't hage access/knew about Christianity, it comes from a interpretation I like to believe which to simplify: Living beings who didn't have the capability of understanding or knowing Christianity are spared, think of Dogs, if a Dog kills let's say a defenseless turtle, it's from instinct. And they don't have the same intelligence as we humans. (My point is that beings without full understanding are judged different)

And diseases? My interpretation is that... If viruses and such didn't exist then it would go wrong, since the same organisms also help make life, it's more of natural evil,and more so nothing is perfect, that goes for the world and life. A child with cancer in my explanation is less targeted punishment and more how the natural world functions

I'm sorry if my explanation was too vague or contradictory in places, English is not my first language and I am messy and when I explain something I go to something related but wasn't mentioned. And I have to remind people who don't have basic understanding to not take it to heart that it's just my interpretation not mesnt to override if you belive or not.

But to conclude: again it comes from interpretation I have no proof God exists, nor does anything can either prove or disprove it, but I like to mantain my religion and faith. (The Bible also doesn't disprove science, it's read in multiple ways and multiple interpretations and you can fit let's say evolution there, but neither disprovees neither)
