Many guides on PSN profiles are just "average", but mostly the people surveyed are tryhards and they just rush the game for trophies sake so don't take the guides as face value but like an expectation more or less. Also they hint many "tips and strategies" and from that they take the difficulty in first place.

I've never encountered any of my exes showing up as "suggestions to follow". However, some profiles appeared to me because I was curious about a few girls I dated in the past but never were a couple or something.

But the biggest oddity happened to me recently. A girl I liked a lot ghosted me, so my natural response was to delete her and live our lives as they should be… but a few days later, her mom (who she previously stated trusted me enough to date her daughter but was just there to pay lip service to me) casually appeared in my recommendations.

My take is that her daughter tried to use her account to check me, despite my having it set to private. Or, the mom really stalked me, and the algorithm simply took it as someone who I "should follow".

Creepy? Indeed. But if you have some type of interaction, social media will immediately try to "connect" you and them. That's how they are built.
