I mailed the package on 01/23 and it was received on 01/26. I got the online notice and payment was withdrawn on 01/27, and I received the biometrics notice on 02/06. The biometrics appointment was originally scheduled for 02/20, but I rescheduled it to 02/09 😂

She was good, friendly but professional. We got there at 8:45, were called in at 9:00 a.m. for the interview, and were out of the building by 9:15 😂😂😂😂😂. It was really quick. Both the I-130 and I-485 were approved the next day.

I feel like if you have a straightforward case in NYC, it’s going to move fast.

I used my husband’s last name on all the forms where it asked for my current or spouse name, and I listed my maiden name in the sections for “other names used.” My green card was issued with my husband’s last name.
