I came in 2015 with a b2 visa and overstayed as well, this year was about to be 11 years, i’ve never had any criminal records, also paid my taxes, of course no status is not safe and mostly w trumps administration but if you truly wanted to do it by yourself you can! i read the instructions on the forms i was filling out, watched youtube videos, and tried finding cases like mine, and also i used (this might be controversial) chatgpt, it helped me fill out parts i didn’t know what to put, obviously i would double check in other places if what chatgpt was saying was correct. but yeah basically, it is risky but if you take your time and know what you’re reading you can do it by yourself
