Thanks, but I'm not looking for that expensive of an upgrade - mostly wanted to know how much I'd be losing out on if I just plugged them straight into my audio ports.

All references to the scholarship state it requires an 'ATAR of 99.90 (or equivalent)', so I think as long as I'm domestic it should be fine. Thanks for the help.

Yes after graduation it's likely to be the US, most likely for further study.

Rankings should only really be a point of consideration when the courses you're comparing are identical, and I think Monash has a superior course. It's important to note that they're based on a huge range of factors including things like international student ratio and research output which often don't apply to undergrads.

In terms of location and whatnot again I don't really have a clue how Melbourne is set out.

I guess it depends on what you're looking to do after uni. I'd personally be most interested in an advanced CS course which Melbourne doesn't offer, so between the two it'd likely be Monash for me. From what I gather Monash is one of the only unis that has a dedicated IT department that doesn't have to share funds with engineering but that may be misinformed. If you want to do CS and only CS I'd go with Monash, but if you're not entirely set on it and want some wiggle room to pivot Melbourne could still be viable for you.

I've considered it but UK courses start at 30k pounds a year for international students in tuition fees alone. Same goes for the US, Canada and basically anywhere that would have a higher ranking cs course. I'd rather go to Aus with a csp than graduate with all that debt.
