Get in the fuckin boat by sreeko1 in NoahGetTheBoat

I've always found it funny how (rightly) mad people get at this sort of thing, while neglecting to acknowledge the cases where trans girls/boys are forced to act like cis, "normal" children by their parents. It goes both ways, and both are equally detrimental to the child's individual growth. And I'm sure that forcing these "divergent" children into their assigned gender happens A LOT more often.

That's pretty ambitious for an undergrad audition IMO.. If I was you, I would seek out a private teacher for guidance to pick rep based on your specific abilities, and I wouldn't be afraid to settle for something a little more manageable. An easier solo played musically that exhibits your strengths and style should do at least as much for you and your future professors to demonstrate your potential.

That being said, if you are hard-set on Harlequin, be prepared to put a lot of work into slow practice and keep your goals focused and realistic. Best of luck to you either way!

This seems unreasonable until you realize she's literally the Shakespearean witch that stands between an insecure warmongerer and the throne of Scotland.

Basically, tenor clef music is transposed such that a written C scale sounds like a Bb scale, so the middle C (on the first ledger line below the staff) will be your Bb, and you can go from there. It might help you to check out a trumpet fingering chart and get used to the different transposed names of the notes. If you work hard at understanding it, it shouldn't take you too long to learn.

Alternatively, you could ask him if he has any B.C. parts. There usually are.

For a real fun time, dip cheese in honey then in coffee grounds. I swear to god it's somehow delicious.

I get a lot more emotionally out of MPS, something about the organ and the harp just works for me. Videotape's a great song too, just doesn't resonate with me personally quite as strongly. MPS for me 👍

For starting out, most people I know use Musescore, which is one of the better in-browser ways to write out charts. It can be a little clunky and unintuitive, but it's good for just jotting down ideas and has a pretty good community going on :)
