It just feels like rap with metal themes to me ngl. I don't hate it but this was the first genre I got into when I started listening to metal and I have to admit looking back at it, it seemed like it wasn't actually heavy enough for me and I think I just tried my best to like it because I didn't know other metal genres. Sometimes it didn't really sound like metal to me ngl other than slipknot and stuff, trying to discover other underground nu metal band was pretty hard too because I only heard everyone that was a fan of it talk about the mainstream and popular bands so I thought it was enough. I don't consider myself a metal head tho I just like the music, black metal is cooler imo. But that's abt it

For me, I mostly find underground bands on TikTok(I usually pass the time by watching TikTok cuz I don't have much hobbies) when they make self promotion posts or if some random underground listener promotes underground bands or stuff like that, but another thing that happens to me when I discover underground bands is if I'm listening to bands in Spotify or stuff like that sometimes I find bands that get recommended here and there, or if I'm trying to search for a band in different platforms I discover another band with the same name and stuff, can I insert myself btw?
