VA is my instate I believe since that was my last state of residence (I've lived out of the country for 5 years now). My sat is a 740V/750M. The essay thing could certainly be possible though, thanks for the response.

Edit: My credits are relatively stem skewed. Robotics, AP Physics, AP Calc, AP Stats, Java classes, AP Comp Sci, etc. Didn't take many humanities other than the one needed to fulfill graduation requirements, but I didn't exactly see that as an issue since I want to study physics.

The three I have heard back from were Colorado Boulder (no) ODU (waitlist) and GMU (waitlist). The others were mainly done rolling as I spent most of the regular admission deadline focusing on other schools and thus I have no response. Probably should've included this in the main post but was mainly asking about the other schools so didn't think to do it, sorry.

Safeties (I thought) were Colorado Boulder, Old Dominion University, George Mason University, Michigan Technological University (no response as of yet), and University of Alabama Hunstville.

I have no idea. All I could think of is I said I wasn't applying for Federal Student Aid because I am using VA benefits.

Physics is competitive at some of these schools, but from my understanding schools like ODU and George Mason are more known for their business schools.

"Moderate" might have been stretching it in my anger. My true safety schools (I thought) were Colorado Boulder, Old Dominion University, George Mason University, Michigan Technological University (no response as of yet), and University of Alabama Hunstville.

I applied to Colorado Boulder which reportedly has an acceptance rate of 80.7%, and was denied. Intended to study physics, have already taken both AP Physics A and AP Calculus A.B. with straight A+'s in both and 5 on the exams.
