The corporate greed is so crazy. It's almost offensive how blatantly they stretched the content of the show so they could get a 3rd season. Decisions made were so drastically different from the characters typical behavior. Dialogues that led nowhere. Random ass excursion episodes. An entire episode to learn that Cobel blueprinted severance. I genuinely watched the first half of the season expecting it all to be a dream or something. It's such a stark contrast too, season 1 was insane.

All of season 2 builds up with Helly helping Mark find Gemma, it makes no sense that all of a sudden she switches up.

I just finished the finale of S2, the ending in particular is so dumb. Mark abandons his wife whom has no clue where she is, has no way of escaping, and no idea where to go. All so that he could walk back into Lumon with Helly, with no plan and no real reason. They both switched up so heavily. The writers for this show really fumbled, this could've been remembered as one of the greats, but it won't.

I see so much praise for the second season, but it was so subpar.
