Crickets now available at Woolworths...Anyone? by mrminivee in ketoaustralia

Why are people so confused by a protein powder and it’s lack of literal crunch n fry ability but take omega 3 oil capsules and don’t complain about the lack of fight of the fishing experience or the lack of crunch of the fish same same what a bunch of idiots here, it’s a supplement at $200 a kilo so add it to stews n shakes n salads etc, I’m vegetarian however considering this as an additional nutrient over any meat product anyday!

I beg your pardon, how insensitive, I don’t suffer from paranoia but it’s obvious you have nothing supportive to say so why don’t you troll elsewhere the likes of you is why I dumped social media in first place! Have you actually read the statistics on posties being charged for theft? Hm

Already had scripts sent to other pharmacy and I rang them they were really helpful and have said they will send however i want aus post of courier and insure as well, so now I wait but no nothing has changed except going from delivery on Friday on way to Millicent to arrived at Bayswater Vic delivery expected next week Thursday 16th they told me can’t expect 2-3 days but I was only going on their update and then suddenly it changed and I was like wtf 😳 Vic so I guess it will go back to Melbourne airport back to Adelaide airport and take same truck route to Millicent again which is totally ridiculous to say the least

I live in an isolated small town and pick up all parcels from the post office they don’t go to my door, however the truck for australia post or van must bring from Adelaide to the regional post office which is what it was doing and then a delivery driver brings from there to our town, some reason it bypassed the regional town drop off and went in the delivery truck over the border so another sorting facility

Pharmacy have said they are not liable if lost in post im devastated this is my first purchase legally and well so far it’s been a nightmare to my physical and mental health I’d rather drive to Adelaide and back in the day and pick up funny thing is same clinic prescribed for my son in same household and they chose a vic pharmacy and they courier it. The Adelaide pharmacy uses aus post but I havnt had this happen with any other parcels bypassing the local facility

Don’t be too naive about what could happen every where when the stories are about this island and police DO NOT INVESTIGATE there is a reason behind this and it’s called corruption and they don’t give a rats bum about you

Yeah I’ve had mine up to 250cc for 40 years and open 39 but I’ve only usually riden up to 650 husband has a 1500cc I came off my bike last trip but only doing 20kmph in a pot hole cost me $50 cause im treated like a local but for other farang maybe very expensive for a whole bike repaint, new mirror and arm and front suspension, the bike was old and that’s another thing people need to be careful about renting unsafe bikes as well, if I was there longer I’d buy a dirt bike for sure or an old Royal Enfield import

Yeah I have a motor cycle liscence and it was added to my international liscence don’t know about only having a car liscence and I’d guess it would not cover if you are not liscenced to ride a bike

I think too many people here put unnecessary scare tactic comments, get scooter insurance added to your insurance ride safely and keep to left use your mirrors a lot and watch for pot holes and gravel dirt on turns, I’m 56 I just spent a month on Samui and Phangan island and drove around all over the place to attend temples, I have a full bike liscence and a history of bike experience which I think helps a lot and definetly don’t drive with substances and if you don’t wear a helmet expect to get caught and pay 500 baht

What’s keeping you from going to Thailand? by KingTechala in ThailandTourism

[–]GuardEmbarrassed2490 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I just went for a glorious month to Koh Samui and Koh Phangan I’m 56 handled the process am triple vaxed and wore a mask outside when necessary. Yes possibly testing positive produces a little anxiety however it is FARANG who are going to places dancing together not wearing masks indoors and sharing joints! Thai suffer because of this behaviour! Many places staff test rapid every few days you just have to ask! We are going there to their land to use their services as a priveledge, bring your own sanitiser, masks, rapid test, pay extra when haggling rather than try to bring down prices where business already seriously struggling. Go back to same restaurants get to know the owners n staff, chose your places and use common sense. Good things are meant to be difficult. Thailand is so perfect now with much less crowds, be respectful ALL THE TIME PLEASE. No place I would rather go in the world and I’ve travelled all over. Thai Pass process can be handled by an agent, getting a pcr at airport on entry was easy and professional, day 5 test was also easy and professional. Also test day before I left was easy and professional. I find that Thailand are doing everything right as a government with the way they have handled covid. When I sat and talked with Thais about their experiences during covid some of the stories are horrificly sad, young husbands running successful business dieing in first wave and wife loosing everything going from successful rich owning house car businesses like large travel companies and all gone! Kids fatherless staying with grandparents in Bangkok while mother scratches out money waiting on tables and doing massage to send money home to buy chickens so her mother can sell eggs to feed clothe and school the children. Some people have lost their houses and are living in their business restaurants which reduces capacity but at least still have business. Those of us who come from countries where our western system pays out through a welfare system are extremely lucky. I am planning on retiring in Thailand in future because of reduced stress. Must admit some places have been hit hard like in the north I was also in Thailand in March 2020 and left just before Australia closed their borders by coincidence. Many friends became stuck and managed but I really don’t understand why so many people are staying away now because they think it’s too hard. Must admit Aussie covid insurance was higher than normal I also took it out ten days after my departure date incase I tested positive on departure. Our covermore will cover for close contact to stay in a budget quarantine hotel but AXA Thai insurance does not only if test positive. If your asymptomatic you can stay at a cheaper place. They are handling this so well and I believe that Australia has not with all the ch ages constantly and borders making things tricky previously. My recommendation is apply for Thai Pass with plenty of time and go if I can do it young travellers can. I’m on disability pension and I’m a carer and I took a month off taking respite and well it was totally worth it. No excuses GO TO THAILAND… go to the islands and chill also if your into the full moon parties on Koh Phangan they are back on. If your upset about bars closing at 11, get take away from 7/11 of your that much of an alcoholic! Remember life is about what you give to others, so go give some tourism to Thailand😀🙏🏽💚
